Lady Plainsmen Over the Westerners

The Frank Phillips College volleyball team continued its strong season with a hard-fought win over Western Texas College over the weekend. The Lady Plainsmen showed resilience and focus, using consistent serving and aggressive net play to control the pace of the match. From the opening set, they made their presence felt, keeping Western Texas on the defensive and building early momentum that set the tone for the night by going 3-0 against Western Texas College. 

Western Texas battled back in stretches, but Frank Phillips held steady under pressure. Their defense was sharp, with several key digs and blocks stopping Western Texas from stringing together long runs. On offense, balanced contributions from both the front row hitters and back row attack gave the Plainsmen the edge in crucial rallies. Each set showed the team's ability to stay composed and close out points when it mattered most.

With this victory, Frank Phillips not only added another win to their record but also reinforced their position as a serious contender in conference play.
