On Saturday, FPC opened its home slate against Lamar and delivered a thrilling 14-11 victory. The highlight of the game came at the plate, where the Lady Plainsmen launched four home runs — including an incredible three home runs in a single inning. The offensive surge completely shifted momentum and showcased the power and depth of FPC's lineup. The team's ability to produce big innings proved to be the difference in a hard-fought contest.
The Lady Plainsmen carried that momentum into Sunday against Trinidad State, dominating both games of the doubleheader. The Lady Plainsmen cruised to a 21-4 win in the first game, overwhelming their opponent with relentless offense and aggressive base running. They followed it up with another strong performance in game two, securing a 15-7 victory to complete the series sweep of Trinidad State. Scoring 36 runs on the day, FPC showed that their bats are heating up early in the season and that their home field will be a tough place for opponents to play.
