Frank Phillips College Baseball Team Over Clarendon College

The Frank Phillips College baseball team delivered a dominant performance on Friday, sweeping Clarendon College in a doubleheader with commanding shutout victories of 12-0 and 14-0. 

In game one, the Plainsmen set the tone early and never looked back. Behind a strong showing on the mound and a relentless offensive attack, Frank Phillips piled up runs throughout the contest. The pitching staff was lights-out, holding Clarendon scoreless while limiting hits and keeping runners off the bases. Offensively, the Plainsmen capitalized on every opportunity, stringing together hits and taking advantage of defensive miscues to secure the 12-0 win. 

Game two followed a similar script, as Frank Phillips once again overwhelmed Clarendon on both sides of the ball. The Plainsmen bats stayed hot, producing 14 runs in another explosive outing. Their pitching remained just as dominant, completing the sweep with a second shutout of the day. With the pair of victories, Frank Phillips showcased its depth, consistency, and ability to control the game from start to finish, building momentum as the season continues.
